Things you need to know about lovebirds
These birds are widely known as the loveable and social birds, and everyone who had a chance to have them as pets or to simply look at them knew how amazing they are and how good it would be to have one.
Still there are some misconceptions when it comes to lovebirds. Many people connect their name to their behavior seeing them as romantics who bond for life. That is not a lie, but still it’s not entirely true.
You don’t need to have two of them in order to make them be happy. It is true that they can form a strong bond with another one, but if you want to have lovebird as a pet, then the best thing you can do is to have only one. In that way this bird will love you the most.
Even though they look adorable and quite harmless, don’t let the looks deceive you or their size, because they are not always so sweet.
They can often be, but sometimes they can be pretty dominant and show some signs of aggression so be careful if you decide to have one or more.
When it comes to their care, they will be fine as long as you take care of them. They love some bird-safe veggies and some of them love to eat the seed. You should also change their water at least once a day, because if you don’t they will make a mess out of it.
When it becomes all dirty and muddy they like to put the seed in it and make “a soup” out of it.
